We are seeking a CNC Estimator to be an integral part of our fantastic Sales & Marketing Team. About us: The company was founded in 1998 by five people. With a heritage in manufacturing production tooling for an international computer manufacturer, the team developed its skills to encompass delivering for the aerospace, marine, and medical industries amongst others. The company gained ship-to-stock status with a major aerospace OEM in 2012, having attained a better than 99% quality performance for two years, and has maintained this standard ever since. In 2021, The company started investing in new premises, people, and capital equipment, including fully automated 5-axis machinery. The role: As our CNC Estimator, you will be responsible for managing 50% of the company's order book minimising business risk and delivering sustained, profitable growth for the team. You'll work closely with the Sales & Marketing team, proactively onboarding new customers and preparing accurate quotes to maximise flow and throughout. You will continuously be improving how the team operates and aid in driving growth and strengthening margins. What we are looking for: A strong understanding of the CNC machining process is a must as you will be preparing and managing accurate quotes. You will also be providing machining design advice to our customer and supporting them on their drawings and models to bottom out any issues before production.
