We are looking for Project Engineer Apprentices who will be supporting and assisting the Project Engineers in the delivery of a portfolio of small/medium-sized capital projects.
Base Location: Newbury STW, RG14 2AD.
Working Hours: 36 hours per week.
Training Provider Details: University College of Estate Management.
Qualification You Will Obtain: Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Standard, Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) Construction & Built Environment.
Entry Requirements: A minimum of two GCSEs at grade 4 or above (A*-C), in Maths and English OR functional skills level 2 in Maths and English and 64 UCAS points.
Other Immediate Demands: A full UK driving licence (If using your vehicle, you will require business use on your insurance policy at your own cost)

What You’ll Be Doing as an Apprentice Project Engineer - Level 4:
* Managing and delivering a portfolio of mechanical, electrical, civil, control and instrumentation projects with a value of up to £5 million per annum.
* Working closely with Thames Water operations and our contractor supply chain to scope, specify and cost quality solutions.
* Complying with Health and Safety requirements.
* Collaborating with delivery partners/contractors to ensure timely delivery of schemes.
* Drafting, vetting and approving RAMS, project plans, and commissioning plans.
* Overseeing the commissioning and handover of the project to the operational client.
* Ensuring appropriate training has been completed and that completion documents are available.
