BEHAVIOUR MENTOR – Lambeth

Do you have the ability to make an impact in the life of a child from a disadvantaged background?

* £85-£95 per day
* AWR compliant rates of pay.

Requirements
* Immediate right to work in the UK.
* Experience of working with students with SEND within a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) setting, or within a mainstream school.
* A patient and understanding approach.
* A flexible approach.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Existing DBS check on the update service.
* Experience of augmentative and alternative communication (PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method) are beneficial, but not essential.
Responsibilities
* To work alongside the class teachers to ensure the school behavior policy is adhered to.
* Be aware of and remain responsible for all safeguarding of pupils within your care.
* Work collaboratively with both teaching and support staff to ensure best outcomes for students.
* Foster the student’s independence.
* Promote wellbeing and good welfare.
