That's us Key duties include: Provide leadership and direction to the Contracts Management Team Take responsibility for the delivery of high value projects Ensure the alignment of the projects and the project team with MJM strategic objectives Support Contract Directors in recruitment activities Train and mentor members of the Contracts Management Team Have a full knowledge of all contractual terms Ensure correct manpower is allocated to contracts Ensure that all travel and logistical arrangements are made for on time delivery Identify the appropriate subcontractors as required Assist in the production of a realistic programme for contract delivery and ensure that the programme is adhered to by all relevant personnel Take responsibility for the overall health and safety requirements involved in delivering the contract Undertake extensive worldwide travel in accordance with the roles commercial functionality which will involve working for periods of time on sites throughout the world The Ideal Person will have: At least 5 years previous experience working in a Senior Contracts Manager role for a fit-out company. A proven track record of running multiple marine projects at any one time Ability to work on own initiative with direct experience of trouble shooting to ensure the successful completion of a project Excellent communication, negotiating, influencing, analytical, problem solving, planning and organising skills It would be beneficial but not essential to have previous experience working in a similar role on marine fit out projects MJM Marine is the recipient of a Gold Investors in People award and a Bronze Diversity Mark.
