Salary: £55,000 depending on experience What you’ll be doing: Influence and implement Product Security strategy across the Typhoon programme by engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the project, including both future product development in response to Customer or Policy Product Security requirements and assessment & mitigation of issues for extant products Engineering Management Planning for Typhoon Product Security activities, such as Status monitoring and reporting to senior leadership, maintaining the Typhoon Product Security Engineering Management Plan and Progression of key enablers to improve the capability Coordination and facilitation of Typhoon Product Security Committee, bringing together affected and interested Technical Authorities and Technical Managers to plan and coordinate current and emergent Typhoon Product Security work Customer & EF engagement on Product Security strategy and key issues, and risk baseline assessment activities of current in-service products Act as the primary interface for Typhoon in multiplatform working groups regarding Product Security, discussing for example development, prototype, update and agreement of novel Typhoon Product Security processes Your skills and experiences: Essential: Degree STEM subject (Physics, Mathematics and System Engineering) or equivalent experienceproduct expertise Stakeholder management abilities with experience working across functional areas An understanding of the overall systems engineering lifecycle Experience working within a complex, multi-project environment Proficient Systems Engineering knowledgeexperience Desirable: Previous Product Security knowledge Defence industry experience is preferred Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Product Safety & Security Integration (PSSI) Team: The Product Safety & Security Integration Team (PSSIT) is in place to work and act on behalf of the Typhoon Product Manager and Chief Engineer. The Product Safety & Security Integration Team (PSSIT) is in place to work and act on behalf of both the Typhoon Product Manager and Chief Engineer, with 2 key roles; Firstly support and ensure that the Product Manager and AssistantChief Engineers safety commitments are delivered across the business.
