Our ethos revolves around fresh, well-made, and sustainably sourced ingredients, bringing Scotland’s landscape to life through every dish.
You will take ownership of the café kitchen, delivering exceptional dishes that reflect the rewilding ethos. From daily café offerings to special catered events, you will have the creative freedom to craft menus that celebrate the land.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the day-to-day running of the Rewilding Centre café kitchen.
2. Deliver the highest quality food that develops the reputation of the Rewilding Centre Café as a destination for great food.
3. Work with the Café Manager to develop and implement the overall rewilding café concept.
4. Create menu items, recipes, and dishes that deliver variety and quality in line with the overall vision of the Rewilding Centre.
5. Prepare, cook, and support service of meals in the Café, including catered events.
6. Ensure the menu caters for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements.
7. Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food safety regulations.
8. Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and adheres to hygiene regulations.
