The role: We are looking to appoint a FP&A Analyst that is keen to learn and manage the financial aspects of our Transport & Warehouse Operations across the UK. This position is based in Heywood with over 400 employees. You will report to the FP&A Manager and work closely with the Transport Managers for our sites. As the Financial Planning Analyst, you will need to be highly effective working with cross-functional teams and building strong working relationships with operating and functional leaders across the site. This is a role joining an established team and is suitable for someone eager to progress and take on more responsibilities. Working Monday to Friday ideally 08:00 to 16:30 (Flexible based on 37.5 hours per week and potential hybrid working options) About you: Part qualified/working towards CIMA Have exemplary analytical (both qualitative and quantitative), including the ability to solve practical problems and analyse processes for improvement Have experience in working with Operations and External Customers providing financial support. (FP&A within Logistics/Warehousing/Retail sector background beneficial) Hold strong Excel skills Have strong communication and influencing skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills Be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative, hit deadlines and not be afraid to ask for help when needed We are searching for a great personality and attitude towards work and an inquisitive mind. Key finance representative for Transport & Warehouse with the UK regions Ensure weekly KPIs are complete and sent with analysis, covering transport and warehouse Month ends, Revenue management, Volume analysis, Cost analysis, Customer Lane management, Requisitions, Scenario Planning Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and completeness of the companies financial information Preparation of business plans and forecasts Track reliability of plans and performance against budgets and forecasts Ensure the quality of finance analysis and the tracking of action plans Liaise with Transport Managers to help with decision-making What's in it for me?
