Amazon Shipping is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and is looking for a driven, high-performing Sales Representative to work with retailers in the UK.
In this role, you will facilitate the usage of Amazon's logistics capabilities to service their customers' needs.
This position is based out of our London Corporate Office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities for Amazon Shipping.
2. Work with other sales team members to ensure opportunities are understood and next steps are clearly defined via discovery and qualification calls.
3. Utilize product knowledge and internal resources to leverage technical skill sets to understand customers' needs.
4. Support the sales team in building the lead and pipeline.
5. Accurately track activity and develop pipeline using a CRM (Salesforce).
6. Leverage self-service reporting tools to provide pipeline visibility and analytics.
A Day in the Life
As an Amazon Shipping Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to identify and secure new business opportunities. This role requires experience prospecting for potential clients at the senior executive level and thriving in a fast-paced, scale-up environment. Key duties include qualifying leads, communicating Amazon Shipping's value proposition, and meeting ambitious commercial goals by converting qualified leads into new customers. You will also support the sales team's pipeline growth and guide self-service shippers through the registration process. Required skills include a proven sales track record, excellent communication abilities, comfort navigating ambiguity, strong problem-solving skills, and shipping industry familiarity. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to drive Amazon Shipping's growth.
Minimum Requirements
1. A degree.
2. Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
3. Entry-level experience in sales development and/or technical background and interest in developing a career in sales.
4. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
5. Experience in e-commerce, start-ups, advertising, commercial.
6. Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Vidyard, and Excel.
7. Sales or equivalent certification.
8. Experience in marketing and web metrics, including deep data analysis and diverse revenue model’s expertise.
9. Knowledge of end-to-end registration processes and workflows.
