Rotherham, Doncaster & South Humber NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a permanent IPS Team Leader integrated into the community mental health teams. As Team Leader, you will provide a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of IPS, as part of the holistic recovery plan for mental health service users.
You will be managing Individual Placement & Support workers based in North Lincolnshire.
The post holder will support service users with common mental health problems to gain, return to, or retain employment. The role will involve working directly with Jobcentre Plus, employers, trade unions, and employment agencies to keep people in employment and secure employment opportunities.
The post holder will manage and support a team of IPS workers in offering a support service to individuals with common mental health problems to gain, return to, or retain employment.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for ensuring that the IPS workers are fully embedded within the community mental health teams, and ensuring that they work effectively alongside clinicians, so employment support is easily accessible.
You will also work closely with the management team to empower the IPS workers to deliver their role. You have a responsibility to ensure that they are suitably inducted and trained to perform their role.
The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the Communication and Engagement Officers to develop good working relationships with local employers, trade unions, and Job Centre Plus.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* A degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience in employment advice and/or mental health.
* Trained in IPS approach.
Experience
* Experience of working with people with mental health needs, or a similar group within health, social services, or the voluntary sector.
* Experience working in employment services.
* Experience of staff supervision, management, and/or mentoring.
* Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to Employment Support and leadership.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata.
