TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading provider of accountancy practice professionals, is supporting a fantastic top 15 chartered accountancy practice in Maidstone in their search for a Corporate Tax Senior.
This is an incredible opportunity to join a market-leading firm of Top 15 chartered accountants based in Maidstone. You will work within an experienced regional team of tax advisors, servicing a mixed and very exciting portfolio of clients. Our clients work for a range of businesses from owner-managed businesses to significantly sized and listed groups.
Responsibilities:
* Being a point of contact for clients for corporation tax matters
* Preparing the more complex corporation tax returns and tax computations
* Reviewing tax returns and accompanying workings as drafted by other staff
* Advising clients on corporation tax liabilities as they become due
* Preparing/amending letters and emails to HMRC
* Drafting/amending correspondence to clients or third parties
* Assisting in dealing with enquiries raised by HMRC
* Preparing other forms etc. as required by HMRC or other third parties
* Assisting with the preparation of R&D tax relief claims
* Various ad hoc work as it arises such as technical research
* Assisting with advisory work such as advising clients of upcoming tax changes and how they can best plan for future tax liabilities
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience working in a corporate tax environment
* ATT, and/or ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified
* £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
