Location: Tavistock
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 25 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday with flexibility in shifts to suit the right candidate

About the role:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
* Recruit, train and supervise team members
* Create and manage the team rota and ensure adequate coverage at all times
* Financial responsibility, including banking, budgets and debt control
* Prepare financial reports and analyse performance
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice
* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
* Develop long-term goals and plans for the growth of the practice
What we're looking for in our new Practice Manager:
* Previous Veterinary experience would be preferred, but not essential
* Managerial or leadership experience would be advantageous
* Strong planning and problem-solving skills
* An excellent communicator with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
