Salary breakdown: £26,312 to £29,744 plus approx. £2,000-£6,000 sleep-in allowance pa depending on number of sleep-ins required.

We are looking for Children's Residential Support Workers who are passionate about providing children with a safe, supportive and nurturing environment and being a consistent role model in their lives.
We are a specialist childcare provider that works with children who can display challenging behaviour and present with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD and autism. A therapeutic approach, and putting our children first, are integral to what we do.

What will I do as a Residential Support Worker?
* Act as a positive adult role model for the children within our residential homes.
* Provide a safe and nurturing environment to support, advise and guide our young people to develop social, emotional and physical well-being.
* Help our children develop self-esteem, a feeling of safety and develop personal strategies to deal with behaviours that challenge and ultimately to achieve their optimum potential.
* Support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects in the home including cooking, cleaning and finances..
* Ability to engage with our children, helping to develop their interests and organising relevant activities to support this.
* Ensuring that the needs of the children are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
What experience or qualifications would I need?
* You will be fully supported to complete a funded Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare, to build your professional development and meet Ofsted requirements (if not already completed).
* Experience of supporting vulnerable children within a residential care environment would be advantageous, although not essential, as we will fully support you with relevant training and development.
* You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
* Flexible and able to work a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods.
* Hold a valid UK driving licence.
