The Administrative Support role performs various clerical tasks related to the daily operation of the business, assigned manager or department. Answers phones and relays messages. Makes calls to colleagues across the organization, clients, and contractors. Greets and assists visitors and employees. Assists with completion and maintenance of assigned department forms and paperwork. Orders and maintains office supply stock. Collects, opens and sorts incoming mail. Checks email daily to maintain assigned department items. (ie. calendar and timely customer exemption certificate records.) Maintains and files clients, contractors and business paperwork. Creates correspondence and posts outgoing mail. Additional duties as assigned. High School Diploma, GED or Associate’s Degree in Business or related field 1 years of previous administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning). Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients. Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Ability to work with and influence peers and management. Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting. Ability to work overtime as necessary. Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
