The roles
The Finance Systems and Project Team is undertaking a major ERP change programme and we need some additional colleagues who are passionate about technical solutions to help us keep our day to day services running smoothly whilst we achieve our long term ambitions. We are looking for people who will:
1. Be part of a highly productive technical team through effective planning, workload management and delivery reporting.
2. Support the implementation of planned system developments and day to day maintenance, to build continuous improvement.
3. Work collaboratively within the Finance Directorate, but also engage with internal stakeholders across the University to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Be keen to develop your own knowledge and share that best practice.
About you
You'll have a proven track record of working in the implementation, maintenance and development of ERP financial systems, with experience in:
1. Day to day data integrity reconciliation and administration,
2. Reviewing and developing MS SQL scripts to extend functionality or resolve data issues,
3. Interface management and reconciliation,
4. Database schema structures and systems architecture,
5. Supporting the rollout of new software modules/functionality,
6. Leading elements of the upgrade process,
7. Developing proprietary reporting functionality.
Working experience of Unit4 ERP would be preferred.
You will be able to clearly demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills, and enjoy working as part of a busy team. Efficiently organising your work activities and engaging with stakeholders.
