We are committed to excellence and are looking for an enthusiastic Orthotic Technician to join our team.
The Role:
As a Manufacturing Technician (of orthotics), you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, focusing on the cutting and packing of Enertor insoles. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in orthotic manufacturing while contributing to the production of industry-leading products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurately cut Enertor insoles to specified sizes and shapes using precision tools and equipment.
2. Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the cutting process.
3. Pack insoles efficiently, preparing them for dispatch to customers and retailers.
4. Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet our rigorous standards.
5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
6. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimise production processes.
7. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in orthotic manufacturing.
8. Opportunities to develop skills to move onto bespoke orthotic manufacture including use of CAD milling and 3D printing technologies.
About You:
1. Keen interest in manufacturing and willingness to learn new skills.
2. Good attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
4. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
5. No prior experience required, as full training will be provided.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 22.5 per week
