The role
This leading West End practice is seeking to hire an Intellectual Property Partner.
The firm currently has two Intellectual Property Consultant Solicitors. Due to the hire of two new Corporate Commercial Partners and an influx in work, the firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Partner to come in to lead and grow the department.
You will work closely alongside the highly regarded Corporate Commercial Head of the Department. You will work with the Partnership to drive this break-off department forward, and you will also have a lot of autonomy to make the role your own.
You will have the opportunity to get involved in strategic conversations and planning regarding the future direction of this new department.
You will deal with a diverse and broad caseload of soft IP matters across a wide range of industry sectors.
Requirements
* You will be an Intellectual Property Solicitor with at least seven years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience).
* You should have strong technical experience.
* Good business development experience is an advantage.
* First-class communication skills are essential.
