What you’ll do
The IT Delivery Manager is responsible for managing end to end delivery of major project demands for a specific functional area: follow up on design closure, full test coordination, data coordination (if data migration is requested), solution deployment (including CAB approval) and transition to Global ERP support and operations.
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Represent Vodafone ERP Delivery team towards Group Function, Local Markets, and System Integrators
* Deliver within plan and budget any systems / application changes to support the solution.
* Drive simplification for local solutions through analyse and design phases with support Product Managers
* Design Closure: follow up with Business, Product Managers and other teams involved on the Design Phase and make sure that the design is clear, all the relevant documents are approved in SolMan and that the approval flow is fully managed
* Work with Infrastructure Team and make sure that all the Infrastructure activities are properly addressed and monitored
* Test preparation: make sure that the test scope is defined and approved, identify the business name responsible for the test activities, verify that the full test preparation has been completed
* Test execution: make sure that the test execution start as expected, verify the execution progresses and follow up with the SI and test team on defect resolution status
* Verify with the Business, for each demand, if there are role impacts.
* Ensure that a proper KT is planned from SI to Operation team
* Verify that all the steps needed for CAB approval have been completed and that the demand is ready to be deploy
* Support transition to business as usual : Knowledge transfer and transformation of local IT teams to target ERP Domain
* Manage and control of EVO IT delivery with Systems Integrator, local markets and Global IT resources
Who you are
We are looking for:
* Track record of successful service provider integration and delivery management and business management in an international context serving multiple parties/customers
* Expertise and experience in SAP software integration covering all key aspects of IT (Application, Data, Test, Infrastructure, Deployment) with background in FIN/SCM/HR.
* Ability to interact with an international and distributed team
* Ability to manage in dynamic, multi-cultural, high-uncertainty environments
* Full understanding of the delivery life cycle and ability to identify best practices for delivery and drive system integrators through those processes.
* Good communication skills – ability to balance conflicting interests
* Structured and able to organise and drive meetings and ensure clear reporting. Provide a regular picture of the delivery demands status to the IT delivery team and to the Release team
