The Senior Manager’s primary responsibility is to lead a Regional Sales & Order Operations team. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring the effective governance and operation of the Company’s policies and procedures for the global order process. This position works closely with the head of Global Sales Order Operations, Sales Management, Legal, Finance, IT, and Business Operations to ensure the order process meets all financial, operational, and compliance requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Directly manages a regional team of Sales and Order Operations Managers and Team leads.
* Represent the regional Sales Order Operations team in Companywide projects and advocate best practices that yield continuous improvement in both business processes and systems.
* Facilitate communication across the regional team and with broader Global Sales Order Operations and Sales Operations teams.
* Define and execute a scalable and repeatable global order process focused on maximizing the effectiveness of both business process and supporting systems.
* Support the Company’s CPQ implementation; identify process improvement opportunities and implement change that increases productivity.
* Manage and oversee the activities and operations associated with the team.
* Collaborate regularly with internal groups such as Regional Sales Leadership, Global Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, and Business Operations on complex order situations.
* Create and maintain the administrative processes followed by the Global Sales & Order Operations Team.
* Administer Revenue and Support split letters as required and secure internal approvals.
* Support account administration activities such as completion of supplier forms, license change forms, and transfers and assignments.
* Implement and execute process activities necessary to support export compliance requirements.
* Acquisition Integration Project Management: Work with Internal ANSYS stakeholders, including Sales Management, SOAR, Business Operations, IT, and Legal to integrate the sales order policies and procedures of acquired companies and to migrate these activities to the Company’s CPQ environment.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 10 years of relevant experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, or Process Management OR 14 years of relevant experience.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM systems, including SalesForce CPQ.
* Excellent people management skills including resolving conflict, coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management.
* Prior experience supporting a global Sales organization.
* Strong collaboration skills demonstrating the ability to work effectively across cross-functional departments.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience.
* Possess the ability to organize information in a concise and structured manner.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
* Fluent in English and the local languages of the region.
* Ability to travel globally.
* Knowledge of the simulation software industry.
