Linking energy generation to consumption, the business specialises in high-performance medium and low-voltage switchgear for utility, industrial and commercial applications. Job Context: We seek an experienced, talented, and focused individual to join our dynamic team currently delivering installation, maintenance, and product support services for electrical utility assets across the UK. Job Dimensions: You will be working with a team of skilled HV electrical Engineers, supervisors, managers and supporting staff across all aspects of our Service and Manufacturing business. The role is a hybrid of office and home based, with the option of working out of our office in Oxfordshire. The core hours are 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 am to 12:30 Friday, depending on operational workload additional hours may be required. Key Accountabilities: These will include (but not be limited to): Take ownership for the delivery of onsite work, scheduling and coordinating with a range of engineers, sub-contractors and utilities companies Offer guidance and direction to our customers on solutions available. Quote site work, and spares where required, via our approved price lists and tender process Manage jobs end to end from lead to invoice and follow up support, taking control of costs and ensuring margins in line with department guidelines. Work with our engineer pool to ensure the complete scope of works is understood and planned ahead of job delivery. With support from our H&S Officer, produce and supply RAMS for all work undertaken on site. Answer incoming calls from customers and response to their enquiries in a professional manner. Provide excellent ‘customer at the centre’ support across all communication platforms. Utilise a number of online portals to review, input and manage customer data, orders and invoices. Load, review, and manage orders and despatch parts using our ERP system, Microsoft D365. Support all areas of the department in relation to office systems, bookings, POs, equipment hire, delivery dates, equipment hire etc. Ensure Service Level Agreements are managed and supported in line with T&Cs. Support UK and overseas travel arrangements and bookings where required. Ensure a strong working relationship with other departments across Lucy Electric. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Lucy Electric and its customers. Liaise closely with Manager to understand and manage priorities. Attend training and continuous development opportunities as required. Qualifications, Knowledge, And Experience Minimum: Experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers via phone and email. Good knowledge of business-to-business operations and experience working with sales orders, purchase orders and invoices. Experience of document and process management Good telephone etiquette Strong interpersonal skills. Computer literate – skilled in MS outlook and Excel, D365, CRM systems. Experience in managing calls and centralized customer support e-mail. Full driver’s License. Desirable: Experience in managing customer and key accounts. Knowledge of finance, and ability to manage job costing and forecast figures. A qualification in business, management, project management. Knowledge of ISO9001, 14001 or 18001 (45001) Behavioural Competencies Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant and can-do attitude. Highly organised and tidy.
