Abatec is currently looking for a Logistics Operative for our client based in Weston-Super-Mare. Forklift licence required.
Salary: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Overtime: Available
Position: Permanent
The Forklift Logistics Operative will assist the Logistics Manager with all elements of the Dispatch and Core/Yard functions. Helping to check, process & transact incoming and outgoing goods in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, and within the agreed time frames of company KPI's.
As a Logistics Operative you will:
1. Move stock around the site using a forklift truck
2. Adhere to site health and safety at all times
3. Take delivery of stock and allocate stock accordingly
4. Fill out relevant paperwork when taking deliveries
5. Liaise with supervisors regarding daily duties
6. General warehouse and manual handling where required
Our client is seeking a candidate with:
1. Counterbalance FLT licence (Essential)
2. Previous logistics, stores and warehouse experience
3. Experience working in a production environment
