DEPUTY IT MANAGER– ROTHERWAS, HEREFORD

We are currently looking for a Deputy IT manager to assist in the day-to-day operations of our IT systems. The successful candidate needs to have excellent organisational ability, a high level of IT experience and competence, be a team player and work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and maintaining company wide servers and computer systems.
• Troubleshooting network issues, servers and routers, backup systems
• Installation or upgrade software and hardware as required.
• Responding to technical inquiries logging service and repair.
• Creating manuals and guides, and training clients, staff, and associates.
Job Requirements:
• MS Server management
• Exchange Server
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• Infrastructure experience, cabinets, fibre & cat5/6 installation
• Router / Firewall & Switch configurations
• Cyber Security compliance experience
Suitable candidates will have worked in a professional environment for at least 3 years or hold relevant IT professional qualifications (CompTIA Network+ credential. Other certifications may include Cisco Certified Network Associate or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). The position is based at Rotherwas in Hereford but the role may also involve driving to other sites, a full clean driving license required

• Full time position.
• Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.

• Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
