Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.
What You'll Do
You'll take technical ownership of the Vodafone Security Service for a customer account, support management and provide inspired technical leadership to a team of highly skilled engineers working on blue chip accounts that is strategically critical to Vodafone and the country. It is essential that the candidate will be able to interface with all levels of management and account teams both internally and with customer representatives, providing a ‘best in class’ level of support 24/7.
Member of an onsite Secure Customer Operations Network Support team, responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining the smooth operation of all network security infrastructures including Firewalls/Internet Proxy’s and IPS. Essentially a support role, the core activities include customer liaison, diagnosis and resolution of faults, investigation into recurring issues, planning and implementing of change, and offering technical advice.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Support to Project Management and Solutions Consultants in formulating designs, HLD / LLDs.
* Support Project Deployment and successful integration of the solutions into live service, including early life support and documentation.
* Deal with customer escalations and on-going run rate and project based opportunities.
Specifically, this will include:
* Resolution of incidents, working to SLA’s.
* Layer 2 and 3 troubleshooting, configuration, routine housekeeping and upgrades.
* Planning and implementing of customer changes, based around an ITIL framework.
* Managing vendor fault tickets in accordance with SLA utilising escalations matrices where required.
Who You Are
* You'll be a Consultant who has previously worked within an Operational and Maintenance environment within a large enterprise organisations.
* You'll require excellent communication and presentation skills as you will spend a significant amount of time on client site.
* Possess significant experience of supporting Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, F5 and knowledge of Cisco network solutions (including all major switching families).
* Have a strong understanding of Wireless Technologies and Cisco IPT.
* Wide Area Network Technologies including routing protocols.
