Position: Warehouse Operative Location: Lingfield Point, Darlington, DL1 1AX Pay: £12.95 per hour £150 bonus, subject to criteria Hours: 37.5 hours per week Shifts: Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm OR 2pm - 10pm Start date: 28th April 2025 Contract Type: Temporary until approximately 22nd June 2025. This role will enable you to contribute to a behind the scenes annual project on behalf of the Standards Testing Agency. This project is vital to the processing of all Year 6 exam papers for primary school students. Working within the Warehousing department you will be ensuring pallets and boxes are all logged onto Warehouse Management System and are placed in the correct location for future use. For hard work and dedication to the project, Capita are offering a bonus payment to all who meet the below criteria and are still in post at the end of the initial STA contract length (anyone released early will NOT be eligible): £150 for 100% attendance. £100 for between 95% - 99% attendance. Training will be provided across 2 weeks from the 28th April 2025 working Monday to Friday, 6am to 12noon at a total of 5.5 hours per day, paid at £12.95. From the 13th May 2025 you will then be working full-time, Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm at a total of 7.5 hours per day. The training period will consist of basic mandatory PC training, site and role orientation. All applicants will be required to undertake some 'box making' activities during the training period and during any down time as needed.
