How you will make an impact
Working with the Head of Payroll and the Payroll team, you will play an integral role in driving excellence and efficiency

Willingness to learn and develop skills in payroll and related areas in our payroll operations.
What will make you successful
You will have a positive can do attitude and a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience leading a payroll processing team. Your familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance, along with a sound working knowledge of pension administration, salary sacrifice, employee benefits, P11d (OpRA), and PSA, will be crucial. You should demonstrate an ability to manage multiple administrative tasks accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to engage professionally across all levels of the organization. Your proven customer service skills in a fast-paced environment, coupled with a positive attitude, will set you apart as an ambassador for continuous improvement.
Furthermore, your ability to mentor and motivate the Payroll team, work autonomously as well as collaboratively, and articulate complex information to non-Payroll experts will contribute significantly to your success. Lastly, being self-motivated and eager to learn, with a commitment to staying updated on HMRC and pension regulations, will ensure you effectively lead and support your team.
