Your duties will include:
1. Managing all hard and soft facilities for the five sites
2. Overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance and repair. including receiving and handling calls and complaint
3. Negotiating and managing services contracts
4. Contribution to the development and implementation of the Department’s space strategy
5. Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plan and business continuation strategy
6. Liaising with external contractors and suppliers including those for construction, building services engineering, cleaning contracts, waste management, security, and relocation companies
The successful candidate should have:
7. You must be educated to degree level in a building service or engineering subject and/or an equivalent professional qualification
8. You must have significant experience of successfully line managing technical managers and supervisors responsible for a wide range of hard and soft services in a similar environment
9. You must have experience of setting and managing operational budgets over £1 million
