Introducing Plantfix! As part of the Tyrefix Group, this newly formed division will be dedicated to Plant Servicing and Maintenance. We are seeking highly experienced and enthusiastic Lead Plant Engineers to support the development and growth of this department.

Your role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing the growth of PlantFix UK as a new division of TyreFix UK. Working closely with the Divisional Director, you will lead, manage, and oversee a team of technicians, ensuring that the PlantFix culture is effectively communicated and embraced.
As the team's first members, you will get the chance to influence and implement ideas and change whilst carrying out your daily duties across the UK. We are looking for someone with a driven and enthusiastic outlook who is prepared to go the extra mile to drive the division forward with the highest standards of customer service.
You must hold a full, UK driving license to be considered for this position.

* £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (Negotiable DOE)

Key Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of plant machinery, including excavators, telehandlers, and more.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment efficiency.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
* Provide training to new and existing fitters (where needed), ensuring they adhere to PlantFix standards.
* Provide support with Toolbox Talks, van checks, and fitter competence audits where necessary to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
* Prepare and submit weekly reports highlighting key activities, objectives achieved, and relevant updates.
* Communicate regularly with your team to ensure all current and new policies and procedures are understood and followed.
* Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients and addressing their needs promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed.
* Collaborate with the PlantFix UK team to continually improve service delivery and processes.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Mobile Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Technician or Plant Mechanic.
* NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or Engineering
* Previous experience as senior/lead engineer is desirable.
* Preferably you will provide your own hand tools; however, for the right candidate, these may be provided.
* You will have previously worked on plant machinery such as excavators, diggers, rollers, dumpers, Telehandlers, etc.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
* Confident and professional manner with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
