Job Title: Executive/Personal Assistant to the Managing Director (maternity cover)

Company Description
Montgomeryshire Homes is a house building company operating in the Welshpool area. We are seeking an Executive/Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director.
This role would be based from our offices in Welshpool and offers a diverse range of responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
Role Description
1. Assisting the directors with their day-to-day workloads, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling administrative tasks.
2. Maintaining up-to-date health and safety files.
3. Managing contractors' insurance policies, ensuring they are current and valid.
4. Collaborating in the creation and updating of risk and method statements.
5. Assisting in the procurement of materials and contractors through tender processes and placing orders under the guidance of the directors.
6. Handling phone enquiries from potential home buyers and providing relevant information.
7. Coordinating and managing snagging reports, liaising with contractors to resolve any issues promptly.
8. Handling phone enquiries and bookings for our sister company, a Readymix concrete business.
9. Assisting with general office tasks and providing support across various projects as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant, preferably in a construction or related industry (but not essential).
2. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and email management tools.
5. Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous but not essential.
6. Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
7. A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
8. A valid driver's license and access to transportation may be required for occasional local travel or errands.
