Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for an Operations Manager within the Locality Team to work full time based in Hull.
The salary for this permanent Operations Manager job is up to £50,512 per annum.
Main duties:
* Contributes to the overarching strategy and vision on Adult Social Care ‘A Life Not a Service’ to ensure that the principles of the operating model are understood and implemented by the team.
* Leads on refocusing/refreshing team practice, attitude, and behaviours to understand and work in practice that supports early intervention and prevention, demonstrating and nurturing imaginative and creative solutions that evidence strongly co-production with people requiring help, advice, and/or information.
* Engages and encourages partnerships, formal and informal networks to support the development of staff/team to further enhance their skills and knowledge that will provide solution-focused/person-centred practice that is equally legally compliant.
* Operates strong oversight of team workload and capacity, especially in relation to referrals, allocations, and case management, maintaining managerial oversight of workflow within the team including timely responses to allocations, assessments, and reviews.
* Prepares and supports the team for internal/external audits/peer reviews and/or inspections to ensure that national minimum/service standards are met and that continuous improvement is identified and actioned.
* Models and directs the work of the team including identifying and mitigating risks, identifying priorities, and deployment of resources while working collaboratively across Adult Social Care to ensure capacity meets demand.
* Leads the team in developing and implementing a multi-disciplinary approach identifying best use of resources to achieve team objectives, people’s outcomes, and goals, promoting and encouraging the use of technology and equipment to promote health, wellbeing, and people’s independence, resilience, and control.
* Working with people who are ‘experts in their own lives’, leads on developing effective partnerships with people who require help including their families, carers, advocates, etc., to ensure they remain in control, identify their own solutions, and increase or maintain their self-resilience and independence.
* With support from the Head of Service, prepares for court and, with direction, deputizes and attends legal proceedings representing Hull City Council.
Requirements of this Operations Manager role:
* A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
* Understanding of relevant legislation.
* Registered or eligible for registration.
* Substantial experience in health or social care.
