As Senior Digital Project Consultant you will be a key contributor to the People Technology and Digital team focusing on creating a simple, integrated & digital experience for our people. You will be responsible for delivering the end to end digital journeys in a project setting across the BGUK market unit, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and collaborating across the business, to build digital self-service solutions that improve customer experience and deliver operational results for the business
How you’ll help us make Health happen
1. Manage the people technology project portfolio for the MU, working in partnership with a network of content and application owners as well as other functional partners such as BGIUK and Group Technology teams to deliver technology projects
2. Ensure enhanced feature sets in existing technologies are implemented to continually improve digital people experience.
3. Consult and appropriately challenge, incoming requirements and project requests in order to deliver overall strategy, including prioritisation, requests for funding & validation of experience success measures.
4. By using best practice project management artifacts, you will ensure delivery in each project is optimised.
5. Manage relationships with third party development partners (internal and external) when working to adopt new digital technologies.
6. Manage project reporting to executive project steering committees
Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role
7. Experience using project management tools is essential.
8. Experience within Financial Services organisations desirable.
9. Experienced in digital consulting – including but not limited to incident management systems, multi-channel logistics, automation, and AI.
10. The ability to effectively prioritise tasks in order to meet pre agreed timescales, deadlines and budget.
11. An ability to manage a budget, providing cost estimates to the business & contracting with third party organisations.
12. Stakeholder management – can build partnerships with key stakeholders by communicating effectively, influencing and providing a high level of support.
13. Knowledge of UK regulatory bodies and legal requirements and associated impacts
14. Well-developed communication skills, with a high proficiency in written English and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
15. Highly developed planning and organisational skills
16. A strong sense of team and passion for collaborating with others to deliver an outcome.
