About the role
We are looking for an Interim Social Work and Family Support Lead to join the Child and Family Team. You will manage the social work service for families (children, young people and adults) under the care of Chestnut Tree House, including holding a small complex caseload and providing advice and guidance to the wider staff team. You will have a significant role in supporting the service to meet its safeguarding duties and requirements and will support staff to feel confident to do so. This role involves line management of a multi-disciplinary team and the opportunity to review and develop the service offer. You will support the team in offering pre and post bereavement services to families we work with and cultivate relationships with relevant external partners.
This is an exciting time to join our team whilst we are undergoing service transformation and development. We’re investing in a range of roles within the team to support our work with children, young people and families.
