Location: Hybrid - 3 days in the Bristol office and with travel to events and for team meetings as required

The Marketing Executive will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to deliver demand and lead generation activity that supports pipeline generation and brand awareness in line with defined targets and goals.
This is a ‘hands on’ position requiring commercial awareness, creativity, a pro-active approach, and excellent organisation to ensure Embridge’s marketing activities are impactful, of high quality and meet defined objectives. The Marketing Executive should have digital marketing experience and be comfortable working both on their own initiative and in a virtual team environment.
Although the Marketing Executive sits within the Sales and Marketing team, they will also work closely with the wider Embridge team, including Product Development, Professional Services, and Business Change and Digital Adoption, drawing on their specific expertise and insight as needed.
Working across the full marketing mix with a heavy focus on digital but also including off-line marketing activities such as events, this is a key role in a growing team and is an opportunity to make a truly positive impact.
Role Requirements
1. Work with other members of the marketing team to plan and execute on and offline marketing campaigns in-line with the Embridge strategy and plan.
2. Work with subject matter experts across Embridge, and externally where appropriate, to create new and compelling content (blogs, eBooks, videos, webinars, newsletters, emails, landing page content, etc.) and repurpose existing content, in-line with campaigns and overall marketing plan. This should support building and maintaining product, service, industry and market knowledge.
3. Support a regular programme of social media activity including writing and scheduling (via HubSpot) new posts covering Embridge’s brand and campaign messages as well as identifying relevant industry and partner content to share. This includes reacting, engaging and commenting on/with other content where appropriate and supporting appropriate reporting.
4. Support and manage the execution of relevant events in-line with the Embridge strategy and plan. This could be external such as industry events, trade shows, and partner events, or internal such as webinars and Embridge-hosted events.
5. Be responsible for the website maintenance (WordPress) and update of the Embridge website, including but not limited to posting news, updating training information, adding new products and services and updating available jobs.
6. Work with the sales team to manage and maintain up-to-date and accurate contact and company data in the HubSpot CRM system to support outreach campaigns and the wider business strategy.
7. Use the marketing automation system to maximise efficiency across campaign content and execution, for example automating and scheduling emails, building landing pages and social media management.
8. Work with other members of the marketing team to develop and manage digital activity and campaigns using appropriate techniques including but not limited to advertising, re-targeting, SEO, working with third-party publications and social media.
9. As required, undertake competitor analysis, market and customer research to provide insights, inform and validate new product and service initiatives, working closely with the product team as appropriate.
10. As required, working closely with HR, contribute to internal communications and employer brand initiatives.
11. As required, contribute to PR activities, in liaison with the marketing team and external PR agency.
12. Contribute to the evaluation of marketing activities to understand engagement and ROI and use this information to continually improve Embridge’s marketing effectiveness.
13. Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably required by the Marketing Manager.

Key Skills and Experience Will Include
* Demonstrable understanding of marketing principles, channels, and tactics.
* Demonstrable track record of delivering a variety of impactful marketing activities driving lead generation and brand awareness.
* Excellent and clear verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate to all audience levels across businesses, organisations, and external contacts.
* Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail.
* Experience of managing competing priorities and deadlines.
* Demonstrable experience creating informed and compelling content.
* Experience working with email, marketing automation and CRM tools, HubSpot experience a distinct advantage.
* Experience using content management systems, WordPress experience a distinct advantage.
* Hands-on knowledge of digital advertising channels, such LinkedIn advertising, Google Ads and Adwords.
* Knowledge of SEO techniques.
* At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing role.
