No prior experience is necessary, as this is a niche role, but a passion for working with data sets and a desire to improve in this area is essential! What you'll be doing
* Responsible for administering the bonus/commission calculation process in line with agreed SLAs and auditable standards for the following customers:
Internal bonus payments to sales colleagues External commission payments to small business and indirect partner sales
* Accountable for calculating and quality-checking accurate bonus/commission payments according to contractual and pay plan requirements, ensuring payment data is delivered on time and follows auditable processes.
* Proactively collaborate with business partners to identify and resolve data quality issues.
* Responsible for collecting and collating accurate data, working closely with other business areas to ensure the data exchanged is accurate and credible for use in specific bonus/commission calculations and reports.
* Handle and resolve commission queries, analyse the root cause of issues, and recommend solutions to reduce ongoing queries.
* Build and maintain relationships with sales, commercial, and finance functions to support the end-to-end process.
* Generate reports for sign-off and issue statements to customers.
Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders in a highly regulated, rule-based environment.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Strong ability to engage with and challenge stakeholders at all levels, including CFOs and Commercial Directors.
* Experience in an HR reward function or similar commercial role is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access Database, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, pivot tables, and IF statements, is preferred.
