Green Lane Vets are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. We’re keen to support different rotas, shifts and hours to offer you the work-life balance that you need. We want to make sure that you have time to follow up on cases and spend more time with your patients, so we run 10-minute consultations with protected admin time and breaks. Ideally, we’re looking for a candidate that’s keen to continue to develop our already excellent clinical services; there is also the potential for Clinical Directorship opportunity.
Rota patterns that work for you:
A typical full-time role would involve covering 40 hours per week over 5 weekdays (09:00 - 18:00), along with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings covering consults only (09:00 - 13:00).

Our practice:
At the practice, we see a mixture of routine and preventative work, as well as interesting medical and surgical cases. We provide first opinion care to small animals and work up our cases to the highest standard. The practice itself is an extremely well-equipped site. You’ll have access to an ultrasound machine suitable for abdominal studies, Digital X-ray, and much more! Our main practice is situated on the outskirts of Chester with the smaller branch located in Caergwrle, Nr Wrexham. Also, we have excellent travel links to Chester, Manchester, and Liverpool city centre for those that prefer a more urban setting.
