About the Role:
The Quality Inspection Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained across all manufactured components and assemblies. Leading a team of dedicated professionals, you will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within our Quality Control department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide effective leadership and mentorship to a team of 4 Team Leaders and 21 technicians and apprentices.
2. Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and a relentless pursuit of quality.
3. Collaborate with senior management to define and execute strategic quality objectives in alignment with overall business goals.
4. Implement and champion LEAN manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across all processes.
5. Partner with Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless production and the highest quality outcomes.
6. Oversee talent management activities, including performance management, training, and succession planning, to foster a high-performing team.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience leading Quality Inspection teams within a high-precision manufacturing environment, ideally within the motorsport or automotive industry.
2. Demonstrated expertise in LEAN methodologies and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a passion for developing and motivating teams.
4. A strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards.
5. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
