Operational Performance Insight Lead – Role Overview
The Operational Performance Team is seeking a HEO Performance Insight Lead to join the team.
The Team is responsible for providing a range of accurate, balanced, and reliable reporting and analysis across Chief Operating Officer Group (COO). We are a trusted partner and strategic enabler for the organisation by providing valuable insights, support data driven decisions, and a comprehensive understanding of performance metrics.
The successful candidate will have the chance to expand their network and gain invaluable experience in stakeholder management across all directorates, expand their operational knowledge and develop skills on management and reporting tools.
Operational Performance Insight Lead – Key responsibilities
* Managing a range of support tasks linked to performance and productivity including analysis of data and report writing.
* Working closely with the SEO Performance Insight Leads and G7 Head of Operational Performance.
* Adopting a pro-active approach in supporting the Head of Operational Performance with analysing and reviewing all areas of VOA Performance and Productivity, identifying, and sharing risks, opportunities and trends with VOA Leadership teams, and recommending improvement approaches.
* Supporting the delivery of monthly Performance Reviews with the Regional Valuation Units (RVUs), Council Tax Unit & Customer Service Centre (CSC), against the Operational Plans across Chief Operating Officer group (COO).
* Maintaining team housekeeping elements, including but not limited to: Agendas, Action & Decision Logs and Team Planners.
* Play an active role in the delivery of all standard performance reporting for the COO, including Weekly COO & Hot Topics briefings. And supporting the SEO Leads with the production of monthly presentation packs for ExCom & the Senior Leadership Team.
* Play a visible role in supporting the Agencies data strategy, including promoting and supporting the use of Agency Reporting Tools and a culture of MI self-service.
There may be a need for occasional travel across the UK with some overnight stays required for business purposes.
