In this dynamic role, you will:
1. Lead the Learning and Development team driving innovative Learning and Development initiatives including inspirational management programmes.
2. Lead a team of subject matter experts including programme design, digital and data specialists to inspire best practice in Learning and Development across the Health Board.
3. Collaborate with a wide range of teams across Hywel Dda University Health Board in the development of bespoke, high quality training programmes, taking the opportunity to identify, gather and analyse benchmarking data to inform future planning.
Main duties of the job
1. Be responsible for the operational functioning of the Learning and Development Team, including key lead for data intelligence and reporting.
2. Lead on the identification, commissioning, delivery, recording, reporting and evaluating of training and development opportunities within the Health Board.
3. Work with the Learning and Development Manager to respond to organisational priorities and objectives.
4. Be a source of expert advice to support colleagues operationally across the Health Board in relation to training, education and development.

5. Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
