Deanery C E Primary School is a caring, friendly and successful two-form entry academy primary school. We are extremely proud of the high standard of our in-house school catering service and we are committed to continuing to offer an excellent service to our pupils and staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and experienced person to manage our catering service.
We provide 280 lunches every day and we are looking for a skilled Catering Supervisor to manage, operate, and deliver a high-quality catering service in school, in line with all relevant legislation, making efficient and economic use of resources.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a range of creative and innovative ideas to further enhance our home-cooked catering provision.
2. Manage special diets to ensure our pupils with dietary needs are catered for.
3. Demonstrate a passion for quality with the highest standards in food production, presentation, and service.
4. Show in-depth knowledge of practical cooking in a large-scale environment, budget management experience, and good IT skills.
5. Provide supervisory management experience, lead a team, and demonstrate good leadership and motivational skills.
6. Exhibit effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer care and the ability to work as part of a team.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore, the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Interviews will take place on 28 November and will consist of an interview, written test, and a practical skills test.
