Join our team and inspire students across secondary schools in Peterborough on a short-term or long-term basis About the Role: Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Role: Art Teacher Work Type: Short Term and Long Term Start Date: Immediate Pay: £150 - £220 per day (Depending on experience and qualifications) Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons that encourage creativity and critical thinking. Teach a range of art techniques and concepts, from foundational skills to advanced methods, across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves through art. Organize and oversee art displays, exhibitions, or extracurricular art clubs to showcase student talent. Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to the school’s wider arts curriculum. About You: The ideal Art teacher will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Specialism in Art and Design with experience teaching in secondary schools. A genuine passion for art and the ability to inspire students of varying abilities. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a creative learning atmosphere. A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
