Homelessness Housing Officer Agile Hybrid Homeworking (office base Norwich with some travel to King’s Lynn) Full time, 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday Starting Salary at £34,009 per annum, with progression opportunities to £36,178 per annum, plus Essential Car User allowance of £4,266 per annum Fixed Term Contract for 9 months About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Homelessness Housing Officer to join our team on a fixed term contract. This role plays a key role in providing dedicated housing management services for those moving from homelessness to tenancies within our properties. The role involves: Allocation and letting of empty homes To deliver the associations commitments in respect of anti-social behaviour Delivering services that assist tenants and those in the community around them to peaceably enjoy occupation of their homes. Working closely with Support Agencies delivering support services to customers to ensure tenancy sustainment and to improve life opportunities. About You The successful candidate will have previous experience working within the Housing Sector and be able to demonstrate resilience, compassion and a firm approach to dealing with the challenges this role presents. Having excellent and adaptable communication skills to engage with and support our tenants as well as establishing important connections with other agencies is also essential.
