Job Details
Older People’s Services has 8 residential services across Fife. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our care home team in Fife Council’s Residential and Day Services (East), on a casual basis, for the position of relief social care worker (night shift).
We are looking for a motivated individual with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People; with experience of care within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, which involves creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans and keeping accurate records of support planning.
The Person
* Must have or be able to work towards: SVQ 3 as required by the Scottish Social Services Council.
* To ensure you achieve registration with the SSSC as part of the Older people’s residential and day services requirement within 6 months of starting in a new role.
* Provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards.
* Must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support.
* You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
