As a Design Manager, you will be working on exciting Data Centre projects whilst utilising innovative processes to ensuring the highest possible efficiency and quality. Your work will make a significant impact, shaping some of the most prestigious projects in the industry.
Design Manager Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with client, Project Manager, Design team and consultants.
* Negotiate scope of work, deliverables and price with consulting firms.
* Procure the design from a consultant design partner from initial tender enquiry to appointment.
* Manage distribution and production of project workload within the project team and design consultant team.
* Collaborate on new design issues/changes and research projects with the team.
* Project prioritization of design, assignment and management to designers.
* Led with effective supervision of an experienced design team to ensure delivery on schedule.
* Closely track design deliverables to ensure project milestones are met.
* Implement a recovery strategy if slippage is detected.
* Participate in departmental strategic planning.
Design Manager Requirements:
* Degree Level 6 in architecture, engineering, building services or related field + minimum 5 years’ experience.
* Experience of site/delivery, commercial and contract procedures.
