We are looking to recruit a full-time Customer Services Coordinator for a busy maintenance company based in Reading, Berkshire.
You will be based full-time at their head office, but some travel to customer sites and client meetings may be required in the future, so you will have to be a car owner/driver.
Job hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with one-hour lunch break.
You will be reporting to their Customer Services Manager and National Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Taking incoming calls, logging details, and prioritising work schedules.
2. Raising job cards and booking in, taking calls from outside service technicians, and updating job information.
3. Assisting to manage our team of 6-8 service maintenance and repair tradesmen.
4. Possibly taking responsibility for a portfolio of customers in the future.
5. Dealing with customer enquiries and their service maintenance and repair work.
6. Updating customers and agents with the progress of jobs.
7. Maintaining their database (Navision).
8. Assisting with general office duties as required such as filing, technicians worksheets, etc.
Skills Required:
1. Experienced in handling telephone calls and dealing with customers, suppliers, external contractors, and engineers/technicians.
2. An organised approach to prioritising work and technicians and for remembering and recording details of jobs/conversations, etc. on our database.
3. Computer literate (database, Word, Excel, email).
4. Numerate.
5. Good knowledge of the local area would be an advantage.
6. Experience of working in a role where you have been managing, planning, scheduling engineers, contractors, or tradesmen would be an advantage.
Remuneration/Benefits:
1. Salary commensurate with experience.
2. Starting holiday allowance is 25 days plus bank holidays.
