Solution Architect role - Hybrid working from Watford office - £650 inside IR35
La Fosse is partnering with an Entertainment brand based in Watford as they look for a Solution Architect. You will play a key role in supporting the Enterprise Architecture Lead in defining and delivering the target architecture for the brand transition. This role will focus on architecting digital applications across web, mobile, and backend systems as part of a comprehensive transformation program.
Agile Collaboration: Work closely with agile teams to gather requirements and co-design effective solutions.
Legacy System Analysis: Assess legacy environments and integrations to design modern, scalable solutions, identifying critical deficiencies and recommending improvements.
Produce both high- and low-level design documentation to support system implementation.
Design and implement digital gaming platforms, ensuring integration across web, mobile, and backend systems.
Apply frameworks and design patterns for building secure, scalable business applications.
Problem Solving: Use analytical skills, including coding and scripting, to solve complex problems and enhance system performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Data and Product Architects to design high-performance, scalable enterprise solutions with multiple integrations.
Cloud Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and MS Azure.
Implementation Support: Collaborate with Enterprise and Solutions Architects to deliver key design artifacts and support the implementation of low-level designs.
Capacity Planning: Partner with technology teams and external providers to ensure system capacity, whether on-premise or in the cloud, for successful project delivery.
Coordinate with third-party vendors to support technology implementations and ensure smooth digital operations.
Proven background in Solution Architecture, with expert knowledge in backend systems, web/mobile frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Cloud Infrastructure: Technical experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Hands-on experience with modern development practices, including IDEs, automated builds, testing, and deployment.
Architecture Frameworks: Proficiency in architecture frameworks (TOGAF) and modeling languages (UML, ArchiMate, BPMN).
Project Methodologies: Familiarity with ITIL service delivery frameworks and project methodologies such as Prince2, PMP, Agile, and SAFe.
Industry Experience: Ideally, experience within regulated sectors like gambling, gaming, or financial services.
Design Leadership: Proven ability to deliver high- and low-level designs across multiple projects.
