IMH are seeking a Forklift Driver for our client based in Dinnington. The post holder will be responsible for operating mobile plant vehicles, specifically Fork-lift trucks to load and unload vehicles. Operate mobile plant machines as trained, record all required information correctly and eligible. Undertake daily pre-start checks on mobile equipment and report any defects found. The Role: Ensuring the correct materials are loaded following approved procedures. Liaise with site supervisors to ensure any quality issues are being raised and resolved. Liaise with delivery and collection drivers to ensure correct procedures are followed. Collate all required information for each load including photographs, following correct protocols. Complete all required documentation, carry out visual inspects of all incoming loads. Check all outgoing materials before loading onto vehicles. Follow all health & safety policies and procedures, report any unsafe practices or safety concerns. Promote a good working environment by following instructions. Ensure high levels of housekeeping within your working area are maintained, report any defects or damage to equipment. Follow all health and safety procedures, risk assessments and safe operating procedures. Maintain a safe working area with good housekeeping standards. Report any vehicle or static plant defects following defect reporting procedure. Challenge any unsafe acts or safety concerns. Ensure mobile plant equipment is maintained, cleaned and greased. Record accurate, timely and eligible information required for the post. Ensure quality of materials being loaded is at required standard. About You: Forklift Counterbalance Licence Experience in operating mobile plant equipment Good communication skills High level of data and information recording Working in a waste & recycling environment Working with a variety of processed materials A flexible approach to working hours Quality checks on outbound and incoming materials Good organisation skills Hours and Pay: Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30am 40-45 hours per week £13.50 per hour / £29,835 annually Please call (phone number removed) for more information and apply with an updated CV
