As a Youth Worker, you will support young people to explore and understand their ideas, values and beliefs, building their confidence, self-esteem and life skills so that they can make a successful transition to adulthood. Please note, this role will include day-time work.
Youth Work relies on voluntary engagement, and you will need to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect in order to support and empower young people from all backgrounds. Applicants should be passionate about young people’s rights, and confident in leading Youth Work support, intervention, projects and activities.
The post holder will have opportunities to work collaboratively to develop and deliver various targeted early intervention and preventative activities with other teams and external organisations.
