About Us:
We are a leading dental supply company in the UK, committed to providing top-quality products and services to dental professionals across the country. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cleaning Team Leader to oversee the cleaning operations within our office, warehouse, and canteen areas in our Head Office in Dundee. This is a key role that will ensure a clean and well-maintained environment for our staff and visitors whilst ensuring compliance with our regulatory requirements for distributing dental products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise a team of 5 cleaners, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards and in compliance with the Company’s Quality Management System.
* Manage the cleaning of office spaces, warehouse, and canteen areas, ensuring a tidy, safe, and hygienic environment.
* Plan and schedule cleaning duties for the team, ensuring effective time management and prioritization.
* Control stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
* Knowledge of floor cleaning machines – operation & maintenance.
* Provide training and guidance to team members on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Handle any cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
* Maintain records of cleaning schedules, stock usage, and other relevant documentation.
* Report any maintenance or safety issues to the facilities manager.
* Assist with recruitment and performance management of cleaning staff.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a cleaning supervisor or team leader role, ideally within a warehouse, office, or similar environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
* Ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to cleaning.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to handle challenges with professionalism.
* Flexibility and reliability.
Hours:
* Part time
* 20 hours per week
* 06:00 - 10:00 or 17:00 - 21:00
