The school is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant who can support a student in 1:1 learning to assist them succeed in both social and academic areas. You will oversee giving the student the support necessary to enable them to continue towards the aim of helping them become successful and self-assured. It is very likely that we will be able to find you a position within our SEND schools, or even mainstream, if you have experience working with children who have been diagnosed with Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, SEMH /Social Emotional Mental Health, EBD / Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, or ADD / Attention Deficit Disorder. An OSPC (Overseas Police Check) is required if you have worked abroad for more than six months in the last five years. All school environments will need to have these as a safeguarding measure.
