Job summary The Head of Clinical Applications is a key role in the IT department, helping the Trust to realise its digital vision, support our clinicians and our diverse customer base for the benefit of our patients. This role will manage some of the Trusts most critical IT systems such as our patient administration system and electronic medical records, and be part of an exciting journey of becoming a paper-lite and digitally enabled organisation. Main duties of the job This exciting new role in IT will be responsible for leading around 40 staff across different teams which together, manage some of the Trusts most critical IT systems. You will be able to lead and advise on our systems from a user focused perspective and work alongside our technical and project teams.You will be leading and be responsible for the teams on a daily basis using excellent management and communications skills.
