The Role
Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record of successful cost and contract management? Are you looking for an opportunity to work on exciting architectural fit-out projects in the MOD sector? Space Interior Systems Ltd is looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our Strategic Works Division.
In this role, you will:
* Provide cost forecasts, estimates, and reports.
* Prepare and manage contract documentation.
* Oversee cost control and risk management.
* Work closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
This role is based in Aldermaston/Tadley, with occasional site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor selection and supplier negotiations.
* Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost reporting.
* Ensure compliance with contracts, including NEC, and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
* Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
