The Tulane School of Social Work (TSSW) is seeking experienced adjunct instructors to teach in both our online and on-ground MSW and DSW¹ programs. The TSSW invites top-level applicants from New Orleans, around the country, and across the globe to apply.
We are especially interested in adjuncts that can teach graduate-level statistics.
* Online adjunct faculty can teach online courses from anywhere in the world via a high-speed internet connection.
* On-ground adjunct faculty are needed on Mondays-Thursdays 8am-5pm in the TSSW offices located in New Orleans.
Teaching loads will vary from 1 to 2 courses per semester based on the needs of the school and your availability. Courses will vary across micro and macro practice areas to include:
* Social work history
* Social work policy
* Diversity and social justice
* Theory
* Direct practice
* Organization and community practice
* Advanced practice
* Human behavior
* Community organizing
* Research
* Practice with individuals, families, and groups
* Various electives
All applicants will be reviewed and screened by the TSSW and the Office of Academic Affairs.
